What the Program Provides
Our House Transitional Living provides a structured housing environment designed for young women who are ready to take the next step toward independence.
This is not an emergency shelter. It is a program for individuals who can maintain housing, follow expectations, and continue progressing toward long-term stability.
Our housing model emphasizes safety, consistency, and respect — creating an environment where residents can stabilize and move forward
Our program serves individuals who meet the following baseline criteria:
Shared Living Environment
Residents live in a structured, shared home setting with clear expectations and accountability.
Onsite Oversight
A house manager provides daily oversight to maintain structure, consistency, and a stable living environment.
Structured daily living environment that supports independence
Independence develops naturally through daily routines, shared responsibilities, and real-world living expectations within the home.
Housing-Only Model
This program provides housing only and does not include case management or clinical services.
All placements are referral-based and subject to program review.

Our House Transitional Living serves women ages 18–24 who are appropriate for a structured, shared housing environment and ready to move toward independence.

Final Placement Criteria
Who Is a Strong Fit?
This program is designed for individuals who are already supported by external providers and ready for a structured housing environment.
Strong candidates typically:
- Is between 18–24 years old
- Is able to live in a structured, shared environment
- Is medically stable and does not require 24/7 clinical supervision
- Is engaged in employment, education, or working toward a defined goal
- Has a referring agency or professional support
- Is willing to follow house expectations and participate in daily structure
This program is not appropriate for individuals who:
- Require 24/7 psychiatric or medical supervision
- Are in active substance use crisis without a treatment plan
- Present a risk to other residents
- Are unwilling or unable to follow program expectations
Final placement decisions are based on program fit and available capacity.
How the Referral Process Works
Our House Transitional Living works with verified referral partners to place individuals who meet program criteria. The process is designed to ensure strong, successful placements.
Referral Submission
A referral is submitted by a verified agency, organization, or professional partner using the referral form.
Initial Review
Each referral is reviewed for alignment with housing criteria, including housing readiness and appropriateness for a shared living environment.
Follow-Up (If Needed)
Additional information may be requested from the referring partner to support the review process.
Acceptance Decision
If the individual meets program criteria and space is available, the referral is approved and next steps are coordinated.
Move-In Coordination
Move-in timing and onboarding details are coordinated in collaboration with the referring partner.
Placement is based on program fit and availability. Submission of a referral does not guarantee acceptance.
